Spears Business honors outstanding students during 2023 Best of Biz celebration

The Spears University of Company regarded student excellence for the 2022-23 faculty
yr at the Best of Biz celebration on April 14.
“We are usually pleased to identify our students for all of their wonderful accomplishments,”
said Dr. Ken Eastman, dean of Spears Enterprise. “Their involvement and leadership have
benefited Spears and OSU and it is an honor to publicly thank them for all they have
performed for us. We are very pleased of them and humbled to be partners in the academic journey.”
The 2023 Raymond D. Thomas Award was introduced to Abby Allison. This award is named
after former Spears Organization dean Raymond D. Thomas and is supplied to one particular of the Excellent
Senior Award recipients. The honoree is picked by a college committee and is awarded
primarily based on the recipient’s organizational management, citizenship and scholarship.
As this year’s honoree, Allison will wear the orange robe signifying she was the top rated
Spears Small business senior, will guide the Course of 2023 into Gallagher-Iba Arena for graduation
May 13 and will be the to start with company university student to obtain her diploma.
Through the Most effective of Biz celebration, 12 students received the Spears Business Excellent
Senior Award. The award acknowledges seniors who have shown a strong academic
record, management and campus and local community involvement. Students chosen for the
award include Abby Allison, Kimberly Burns, Adriana Cervantes, Kyla Ellis Woodbridge,
George Evans, Trevor Fogleman, Dawson Gates, Rachel McKisick, Felicia Mudjialim, Michael
Pynn, Jace Taggart and Connor Wilson.
8 Spears Business enterprise college students were being identified for remaining chosen as OSU Seniors of
Importance by the OSU Alumni Association. Individuals picked have been Erica Besch, Burns,
Woodbridge, Gates, Ryan Jeffries, Sarah Lindley, Georgia Milhem and Pynn.
In addition, both equally Burns and Woodbridge have been recognized as getting OSU Outstanding Seniors,
as picked by the OSU Alumni Association. The Spears Organization students were being two of
21 seniors chosen to obtain this honor.
